"Lisa!" From his office, Mr. Harry Byers yelled.

Lisa sighed deeply and made her way to his office.

"Sir?"

Mr. Harry Byers raised his head from his computer and locked his gaze on Lisa.

"How did you know the new CEO?" He inquired.

"I... I.. I" Lisa stuttered.

"Did you know he'd be taking over after Mr. Desmond Kincaid?"

"Not at all, sir."

Mr. Byers gave her a serious look and said, "You are not telling everything to me. Did he help you get this job?"

"No way!" Lisa stated irritably. The last thing she wanted was for people to think she was hired because she knew who Ricardo was, and it was at this point that she began to consider the negative things that people would say about her.
