Emily’s POV

I wanted to take revenge and get Smith but a few things were necessary. I had to meet with people who had the same motive as me. On the top of my list was Dan.

I did not know if he hated either Smith or Anna but it would be quite worthy. He was Anna’s ex-boyfriend and he broke up with her because I was involved. I could still remember how Anna caught me sleeping with him. I never intended to do such but things happened like that. During that period, I was jealous of Anna. Even with the level of maltreatment she faced at home, she was better than me in everything. She beat me in academics, she was a better cook since I could not cook at all.
