Unending problems.

Anna's POV

As I pondered on the issue at hand, I couldn't help but to wonder what was happening and why things always turned bad for us.

“What was happening?” I thought, stepping out of the kitchen where I was preparing dinner. Smith's company was getting bankrupt and he had been trying to help himself but none of his plans had been working.

Finally, today he had gone to meet one of his last remaining investors whom he hoped would help him. He had told me so many good stories about Mr. Henderson. How they became friends and how their friendship had lasted till this time.

I was making a grilled cheese burger with fries but I had so much concentration that I was silent and the food would turn out bad. These past few days have met me persistently and consistently worried about Smith's business. He has literally been doing everything that he could to get his company back to what it was a few years ago.
