Totally confused 

Smith's POV:

When Dora, my secretary had told me that Emily was waiting for me, I knew she had come to cause a scene here so I asked Dora to let her in.

It was better to cause that scene in a secluded place than let her do it in public.

“Let her in.” I told Dora who rushed out to do exactly what she was asked. She was so innocent and also the most hardworking lady I had that worked for me. She was always early to work and would get things prepared and ready for me.

I tidied my table quickly, then waited for Emily to usher herself into the office as she would rudely do. Seconds later, she came in as she slammed the door behind her.

“Hello again.” She said and offered herself a seat without waiting for me to tell her to do so.

“Yes. What can I do for you?” I asked, trying to sound as professional as I could.
