Days had passed, slowly turning to weeks and I was getting over it. Expecting a call from Nathan was pointless as he didn’t even make any move or action of that sort, deciding to face my daughter and make sure she becomes the best in life. Addison was also here to help, we had resolved our little issue and things were going well.

Having a best friend like her was amazing, she wasn’t only my best friend. She had turned family now and I loved her so much. Though we fight at times, I know she was doing everything for my benefit. She always had me in mind in whatever she does.

“I think you should go for the event, else people might start talking,” Addison said and i shrugged. “I don’t care, I can’t keep faking happiness all because of other people,” I simply said and she nodded. I wanted to be alone right now, with ny daughter. That was all I wanted. I felt very betrayed about what had been happening and honestly, speaking to people made it wor
