Chapter Thirty Six

The funeral was very hard on him, the twins were confused and lost not quite understanding where Mummy had gone and why Daddy was crying so much. In the end, Tamara and Luna led them outside and took them for a walk. I sat leaning against Jack resting my head on his knee while he stroked my ears absently. The Vicar from the base did not find it unusual to have two huge Wolves attending his service he knew all about me and accepted it when he was told Luna was my daughter.

Tamara really stepped up to help Jack, he had fallen into a deep depression and I never left his side while she took care of the twins. She was the one who took them to their first day of school, cooked their meals, and washed their clothes she made it clear to the PM that she was taking extensive leave and would be there for Jack as long as he needed her.

The weeks moved on and Jack was stuck, I tried all I knew but his pain was too deep so I came up with a different plan.
