29~ Haunting past

I was able to settle my sisters' debt with some part of my pay and also send them some money to keep the house running. I felt very accomplished because that trouble was off my shoulders. If they were to run into trouble again, that would be their problem.

Cheerfully, I dressed for work and went out to meet Javan. I had started driving school and he also made sure to give me lessons when necessary. The only problem was that Levi hadn't shown his face to me since our last visit to grandpa Vito. It was getting to a week and I was worried.

When I asked Javan about him, he said I shouldn't worry that the boss wasn't in the country. He had other businesses around the world to take care of, hence his sudden disappearance. But I was his personal assistant, I was supposed to know of his every movement.

Speaking of disappearance, I hadn't seen Lyla, Shawn, or Shirin lately. It seemed everyone was vanishing one after another. Was I that much of a horrible person?
