A sound from the balcony

Upon waking up, the sound of people conversing outside the window reached my ears. Memories of the previous night flooded my mind, causing a broad smile to spread across my face as I opened my eyes.

To my surprise, I found Lucian's head just inches away from mine. He gazed at me with an affectionate smile.

"Good morning, Baby," he said softly, while I stretched my body, still grinning.

"Good morning, my love. Why are you staring at me so early in the morning?" I inquired, furrowing my brow and gently placing my hand on his cheek.

"Because you were smiling so beautifully in your sleep. I couldn't help but watch," he replied, and I bashfully lowered my eyelids.

"Would you like to share what made you so happy in your dream?" he added, and I shook my head, chuckling.

"Oh, it's nothing, baby. I can't even remember what caused it," I retorted, and he laughed, planting a kiss on my lips.

"Well, guess what! It's the weekend, and I want to take you somewhere!" he exclaimed joyfull
