Apology

Leaving Zoe's room, I made my way to the store to fetch the first aid kit before returning to my chamber. After unlocking the door, I entered and discovered Becky curled up on the floor, her sobbing audible even from a distance.

Letting out a sigh, I approached her, taking a seat in front of her and setting the first aid box on the floor.

Expressing remorse, I apologized, but before I could finish, she abruptly stood up and headed towards the door. Reacting quickly, I rose to my feet and blocked her path.

"I said I'm sorry," I retorted, meeting her gaze as she stared at me with a serious expression. Dried tears marked her cheeks, while fresh ones welled up in her eyes once again.

"Are you planning to lock me up again? Or worse, tie me to the bed," she murmured, her voice low and trembling.

"Get out of my way. I want to return to my room. It's clear that you don't want me around," she added, and I shook my head.

"I truly apologize, Becky. I swear, I was foolish to hurt you.
