Talking with the Alpha was surprisingly nice and interesting, unlike what I had expected. I had known him to be cold-hearted and not friendly. A few of my encounters with him were not friendly. I could still remember our last conversation and how he had treated me. Not to talk about my first encounter with him after we were taken captives.

He had asked that they lock me up in a room without food and water when I had done nothing wrong, but with the help of Alaila, we both ended up in a room and we were not locked up. We were also given food and water until the Lycan King came to rescue us.

Our chat got interesting, though I did most of the talking, the look on his face made me know that he is interested in whatever I had to say and that got me talking. At some point, his lips curved into a smile. It was quick but genuine. That was my first time seeing him smile.
