Elijah Smith...

I looked down at the bloody footprints left on the stairs with a frown.

Shining my phone flash light at it, I examined the prints. They were too small to be mine and Dalinda's.

I worked my jaw as I remembered how I'd left Ella in the dark hall after I'd told her to go to my bedroom.

Could she have stupidly followed me? And if she had, then how did I not notice her?

A groan brought my attention to the basement and I made a mental note to have a conversation with Ella before I turned the fash light of my phone off before I shoved it in to my pocket and walked back in to the basement.

The man was slowly starting to wake up, which was good, because I wanted to finish this as soon as possible.

I walked over to the long table with weapons lined up on it and picked up a red towel.

My right hand was heavily bleeding but with how I was able to still move it, I figured the blade didn't do much damage.
