Chapter Five: Blackmail

ADAM took his cellphone from the car dashboard and called his father. After six rings his father answered the phone.

"Yes, Adam? Why did you call?" his dad asked on the other line.

"I just have something important to ask." He said and parked the car on the side of the road.

"What is it, son?"

"What's the address of your secretary? It's important for me to know. She's absent today and I need a file from her."

"Oh, wait. I will check it on my address book." Her father momentarily disappeared from the other line. Then, he spoke again. "Oh, silly of me to forget her address. She was one of the employees who received an apartment from the company as a result of her outstanding performance at work. Her apartment is in WL building."

"Oh, okay. Thanks, dad!"

He's about to end the call but his dad speak again.

"Adam, I know that Ruby is not absent today. What do you need from her?"

He took a deep breath before answering his father. "Nothing that you should know, dad. I have something important to tell her and I badly needed that freaking file. Sadly, I also don't have her cellphone number."

"Is that so? Then I'll give you her number. Just don't disturb her."

A smile creeps into his face. "That would be great, dad. Do send her phone number to me."

Okay, I will send it."

After he received Ruby's number he start again the engine of his car, heading to the WL building.

RUBY waved at Danrick's car as it drove away. They enjoyed a two-hour dinner together. She entertained him with amusing stories, causing her boss to temporarily slip from her mind, and she simply laughed the whole time.

She enjoyed Danrick's company. It lightened up her mood.

She fixed the way her shoulder bag was hanging on her shoulder and entered the WL building. She take the elevator up to the third floor. Then, after getting off the elevator, she made her way down the hallway towards her apartment.

Ruby was three doors away from her apartment when she saw Adam. He's leaning on the wall, his one hand on his pocket and his other hand is playing in his own hair. The scene took her breathe away. Damn this man for being so freaking handsome! He looks like a freaking model!

"But what is he doing here in my apartment? How does he find out my address?" she asked herself, confused.

She cleared her throat to get his attention. Then he quickly looked at her direction.

"What are you doing here, Sir Adam?"

He stood straight and looked in her eyes. "I'm here to blackmail you, Miss Ruby Rose Castillo."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "What?"

"I said I'm here to blackmail you." Adam took the flash drive from his pocket and if she's not mistaken that's the flash drive where in the video about what happened to them in the elevator was saved there. "And I'm going to use this.

She crossed her arms. "Sir Adam, with all due respect, will you please leave my apartment!"

Adam smirked. "I am not inside your apartment, so you cannot kick me out."

She matched his smirked. "Watch me!" She push him and she open the door. She stuck her tongue out at him before entering her apartment. She slammed the door at his face.

Before she could take a single step away, Adam quickly spoke. "If you don't open the door, I will post our video on social media." Full of threat in Adam's voice.

She felt anxious about his words, but she still didn't open the door for him. "Just leave, Sir Adam!" She thought he had already left as several minutes had passed without hearing anything from outside the door. Slowly, she cautiously opened the door to confirm his absence. However, to her astonishment, he suddenly appeared in front of her and forcefully pushed the door, causing him to enter her apartment.

"What the hell is your problem? Will you please get out of my house! You're not welcome here!" Adam did not respond, instead he just gave her a threatening look.

He entered the room like it's his. "This apartment is mine! And I have the right to enter here any time that I want!"

She was slightly taken aback by what he said. It was indeed true that he owned this apartment. The CEO of Whitlock's Corporation is the bastard man standing here in the middle of her living room.

"Why are you here?" she asked again forcing to calm her voice. "It's not office hour. I want to rest. So, please...leave."

The moment Adam took a step towards her, Ruby's heart hammered inside her chest. Seems like she already knows if what will happen next based on how he stared at her.

"Sir Adam-"

He cut her off. "Why do I find it hot when you call me that?"

She gulped. "Stop taking a step towards me, Adam!"

A smirked appeared on his lips. "I like Sir Adam much better. It turns me on. Hmm, what if you shout my name while I give you a pleasure you never expected?"

Ruby felt a surge of excitement, and her mind started to wander with his words. Her mind pictured her on the bed naked with Adam's head in between her legs, licking and eating her. She sensed herself becoming aroused between her legs. Her clit throbbed in anticipation.

She was irritated with herself. In her mind, she held resentment towards Adam. Yet, in her heart, she couldn't help but be captivated by his masculine prowess. And her body, with just a simple phrase from him, ignited with desire. She couldn't control her heart and body, which made her even more furious.

One touch from him and she becomes weak. Oke kiss and she becomes his puppet. One finger on her core and she can do everything that he wanted her to do. This is how Adam affects her. And it's not healthy for her.

"What do you want now, Sir Adam?" There's a hint of nervousness in her voice.

Adam stops infront of her and slide his finger on her nose. "Oh, i'm touch that you ask me that." His face move closer to hers and his eyes darkened with lust. "I want to lick you. Every inch of you. Especially the little sweet bud between your legs."

She gulped when her nipples become taut. "What the hell are you talking about?"

Adam grinned and slide his hands on her tanned legs.

Now she regrets why she wore a skirt. His hand crawled up her thigh, towards her core. "I want to lick this." He expertly snaked his finger inside her panty. "Would you let me?" His voice was alluring. So seductive that it made her nod her head and answered yes.

Adam smiled. "Great!"
