CHAPTER 97

We spent a couple more hours at the beach talking about the most random stuff and I got to admit it felt nice seeing William like that, so carefree and relaxed. I was scared that Rome might end up being a forgotten memory by the time we got back, I was scared that William was going to go back to his usual way of ignoring me. I didn’t want the friendship we had now to be flushed down the drain. I just hope he doesn’t go back to being as mean as he was before we came here to Rome.

We got back late at night, William had called for his driver to pick us up from the beach since he was a bit drunk and I was much worse. I wouldn’t have even accepted to get into the car if he wanted to drive. For someone who wanted to tour the whole of Rome, I couldn’t do that the next day due to the hangover I woke up with. I spent the day in the suite sleeping and cuddling with my pink teddy bear.
