Chapter 3

As the day went on, Craig was busy going about his kickboxing workout, and self training, but he couldn't stop thinking about his zero financial status, and his twin brother that always got him Into trouble because of the resemblance,

Later that evening, he arrived home to find a note from Angela on the kitchen counter.

"Hey Craig, had to stay late at school. Dinner is in the fridge. Love you, see you soon."

He smiled, and headed to the fridge to warm up his dinner. As he ate, he couldn't help but think about Collins again. He wondered if he would ever have the chance to see him again, after his dinner, he retired to bed and slept off,

The following morning, Craig woke up early, and he embarked on his normal morning jogging, but unknowingly to him, his twin brother, Collins had crossed lane with another mafia lord,

While Craig was jogging along the highway as usual, the mafia lord, Alfonso and his men was passing by, and he sighted

Craig focused on his breathing as he jogged along the highway. It was his daily routine, one that kept him in shape and helped clear his head. He never expected it to be the reason why he would end up in the hospital that day.

As he rounded the corner, a car came to a sudden halt. The door opened, and a man stepped out. Craig’s heart skipped as he saw the man’s intense gaze,

“Get him!” the man commanded.

Craig tried to back away, but two henchmen quickly approached him, they grabbed his arms, but Craig knew how to fight thanks to his passion for kickboxing. He twisted his arm free and lashed out with a kick that hit one of the henchmen square in the chest, sending him flying backwards.

The other henchman wasn’t as lucky. Craig spun around and delivered a swift punch to the man’s jaw, causing him to stagger backwards. But before Craig could make his getaway, Alfonso, the mafia lord, came into view.

“You’re coming with us, Collins,” Alfonso growled, referring to Craig’s twin brother.

“I’m not Collins,” Craig protested, clenching his fists in anger and fear.

But Alfonso didn’t care. He motioned for his cronies to seize Craig again, and Craig tried to fight back with all his might. But as more and more henchmen piled on, Craig knew that he was in serious trouble. His vision blurred as he was beaten within an inch of his life.

Just as things were looking their bleakest, a police vehicle’s siren pierced the air. The henchmen scattered like rats, and Craig was left alone, covered in blood and bruises. He tried to stand up, his head spinning, but it was impossible. He collapsed onto the pavement, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

As he lay there, Craig’s mind raced with questions. Why did the mafia lord mistake him for his twin brother? Where was Collins, anyway? And would he ever be able to go for a jog again without fearing for his life?

Hours later, Craig woke up in a hospital room, his body screaming with pain. Sam, Angela and other friends were there, gathered around his bed. They asked him what had happened, but Craig couldn’t bring himself to tell them the whole truth. Instead, he told them that he had been mugged by a group of strangers.

But deep down, Craig knew the truth that, his twin brother must be the person causing troubles for him, and he knows that his twin brother, Collins had crossed paths with the wrong person, that nearly cost him his life,

Craig lay in his hospital bed, anxiously counting down the days until his discharge. The room was sterile and devoid of any warmth, mirroring the fear that consumed him, each passing hour felt like a lifetime, the walls closing in around him. He couldn't remove the feeling that someone was watching him, plotting his demise."Hey, Craig, how are you feeling?" a nurse asked, checking his vitals.

"I'm alright, just eager to get out of here," Craig replied, forcing a smile.

The nurse nodded sympathetically. "I understand, hospitals can feel suffocating sometimes. Just a few more days and you'll be free." the nurse explained,

As the days stretched on, Craig's paranoia intensified. Every creaking noise, every unfamiliar face, sent shivers down his spine. Deep down, he knew why he was living in constant fear. Collins, his twin brother, and the man responsible for stealing Alfonso's packages, was the reason for his torment, Alfonso, the notorious mafia lord, was convinced that Craig was Collins and the hospital offered no protection against his wrath.

Meanwhile, Collins had gone underground, hiding in the shadows of the city. He had made the daring move to steal from Alfonso, knowing that he had to disappear until the heat died down. Collins was no stranger to danger, having spent years immersed in the criminal underworld, but this time, he had crossed a line that couldn't be uncrossed. He knew he had to stay hidden until Alfonso's anger subsided,

Late one evening, as Craig stared out the hospital window, lost in his troubled thoughts, a man stepped into his room. It was Alfonso himself, flanked by his loyal henchmen. Craig's heart skipped as he realized that his worst fears were coming true, and before he could turn, he heard a familiar voice behind him, “Well, well, well, if it isn't Collins," Alfonso sneered, his eyes burning with rage. "Did you really think you could escape my wrath?" Alfonso asked,

Craig's voice trembled as he stammered, “I I'm not Collins. You've got the wrong person." he said,

Alfonso laughed, a chilling sound that echoed through the room. "Save your lies for someone who cares, Collins. I know who you are and what you've done." He said,

"You've got it all wrong," Craig insisted, his voice pleading. "I'm just an innocent bystander caught up in all of this. I don't know who Collins is." Craig said,
