Chapter 2

Finally, he arrived at the village where his late mom came from. He entered the dilapidated house that his mom had left for him, The house was old and weathered, but it was still standing. He dropped his bag on the floor and walked to the window. He sat down and looked out, lost in his thoughts,

Craig's mind raced with memories of his mother. He remembered her smiling face, her warm hugs, and her loving words. He missed her so much. He wished she were here with him, to help him through this difficult time,

Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door. He got up, walked to the door, and opened it. It was an old friend, named Sam, from the village, who had heard he was back and wanted to check up on him,

"Hey Craig, it's good to see you again," said Sam,

"Thanks for coming," replied Craig, his voice barely above a whisper.

The two friends talked for hours, reminiscing about old times and catching up on each other's lives. Craig felt a sense of warmth and comfort he hadn't felt in a while. It reminded him that he wasn't alone and that there were people who still cared about him.

In the night, Sam left, and Craig went to bed with empty stomach, feeling a little less hopeless. He knew that he couldn't stay in his mom's dilapidated house forever, but for tonight, it was enough,

Craig woke up feeling refreshed and energized. He quickly got dressed and headed out to the highway that ran through his mom's village. He loved running on the empty roads. It gave him a sense of freedom and tranquility that he couldn't find anywhere else.

As he jogged, he practiced his kickboxing moves, throwing punches and kicks with precision and strength. He repeated the moves over and over again until they became second nature to him.

After his morning jog, Craig returned home for breakfast before heading out again for his second workout session. He worked out twice a day, every day, without fail. It was this discipline and dedication that had earned him the respect of his friends and colleagues.

In the evening, Craig followed his friend Sam to the local basketball court in the village. It was a small, dusty court with a wooden backboard and a rusty rim. But it was perfect for a friendly game of basketball.

As they approached the court, Craig saw Angela standing on the sidelines. She was a beautiful woman with short, curly hair and a warm smile. He had seen her around the village before but had never really spoken to her.

"Hi, Angela," Sam said, greeting her with a high five.

"Hey, Sam. Hey, Craig," Angela replied, smiling at them both.

"Hey, Angela," Craig said, returning the smile. "You are here to watch us play?" Craig Inquired,

"I might even join in if you guys let me," she said, smiling,

"Sure thing," Sam said, passing her the ball. "We could use an extra player."

As they started playing, Craig couldn't help but notice how good looking Angela was, she moved with grace and agility, dribbling the ball effortlessly and passing it with precision. He found himself drawn to her natural athleticism and easy going personality,

As they continued playing, Angela and Craig struck up a conversation. They talked about their hobbies, interests, and goals in life. Craig found himself opening up to her, sharing his dreams of becoming a professional kickboxer, and he explained about his bad financial status,

Angela listened attentively, nodding and encouraging him as he spoke. She shared her own dreams of becoming a writer and a school owner, and  she promised to give him moral support, and Craig found himself admiring her passion and determination.

As the sun began to set, and the game drew to a close, Craig realized that he had made a new friend. He felt grateful for the unexpected connection and looked forward to getting to know Angela better,

"Hey, guys," Sam called out. "How about we grab some dinner at the local joint?"

"Sounds good to me," Angela said, grinning.

"Count me in," Craig agreed, feeling happy and content. "I'm starving." he said,

Three of them headed to the local joint In the village where they chill and vibes together, they ate, drinks and gist,

A few hours later, Craig, Sam, and Angela retired to Craig's house, but Angela later went to her house while Sam was still with Craig,

In the morning, Angela rushed around the kitchen, preparing breakfast for Craig, she knew that he had a long day ahead of him, and wanted him to be well fed before he left the house. As she scrambled eggs and fried bacon, she couldn't help but think about her own day ahead,

Angela was an elementary school teacher, and she loved her job. She had been teaching for five years now, and had built up a close bond with her students. She couldn't wait to see them all again today, and was excited to teach them more about the world around them,

As she was done preparing the breakfast, she walked fast to Craig's house, and she  handed Craig his breakfast, he couldn't help but smile. He knew how hard Angela worked, and was thankful for everything she did for him.

“Thanks, Angela. This looks amazing," Craig said, taking a bite of his bacon,

"No problem at all, Just remember to take care of yourself today, okay?" Angela replied, giving him a hug before he left,

"I will. I'll see you later tonight," Craig said, grabbing his bag and heading out the door.

As he walked through the city streets, he couldn't help but think about his twin brother Collins. They had been separated when they were young, and Craig had always wondered what had happened to him. He knew that Collins had gotten caught up in a life of crime, but didn't know anything more than that.

Meanwhile, Collins was busy at work in the dark underbelly of the city. He was one of the most notorious drug dealers in the area, and had his hands in all sorts of illegal dealings. While he was feared by many around him, he also lived in a constant state of fear himself.

He had been on the run for years, trying to avoid the law and any enemies he may have made along the way. He had changed many things about him, his appearance, and his entire life in order to survive,

But deep down, he still longed for the bond he had shared with his twin brother Craig. He missed him dearly, and often thought of reaching out to him. But every time he thought about doing so, he feared the repercussions it may bring,
