That hit Ava where it hurt. Although she was sure that just because she suddenly came into the picture, it wasn’t her fault that Casey didn’t want to have any sort of intimacy with Klaire, it still made her feel bad. She was sure that she added fuel to the fire in that case.
Ava cleared her throat. “When was the last time you two, did it?”
Klaire opened her mouth to speak, but she slowly closed it. The both of them looked at each other as if expecting the other to answer. But there was only silence in the room. Ava would have expected Klaire to know the answer to the question, but she guessed she could still be surprised.
“Ok, then, maybe it will just take some time. You two are now married and you guys are far too young to have lost your spark.” Ava honestly didn’t know what else to say.
“We didn’t lose anything. At least, I didn’t. Casey does not want to have sex with me. I tried, multiple times to g
“We should go on a date,” Ava, who was nose deep in a book, turned to Casey. They were in her apartment. After his therapy session with Klaire, he had gone home feeling more drained than usual and so he came to Ava’s apartment. Of course, she wasn’t the happiest that he showed up unannounced, but still let him in. They had not said much to each other, Ava was busy reading and Casey was looking at the way her house was laid out. It was like he wasn’t even there and so Casey had to get her attention somehow. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Ava closed down her book. Casey shifted closer to her, brushing his hands in her hair. “Yeah, well, it’s night and I think we both have had practice in dodging the paparazzi. I won’t be so bad.” “Where will we go?” “Hmm,” There were many places he could think of, but all of those were public and not the best for their situation.
It was a risky move, but asking Ava to have a private session with him was one of his best ideas. It was obvious that they weren’t going to be talking about anything physiological.Klaire was confused, but she didn’t ask too many questions and left them alone. But of course, Casey didn’t assume that it would be as easy as that, and so he walked her to the car and watched as she drove off. And just to be on the safer side, Ava decided that they should have their ‘session’ in another room. It would be a disaster if Klaire were to walk in them.“Klaire is starting her movie shooting next week, so with that, we will have much more time with each other. She’ll be distracted and tired for most of the time. She won’t have much time to have her hand on my leash, so when that happens, we can do many things together.”Ava was laying her head on his lap with Casey running his hand
Ava and Casey went on a date on Klaire’s first day of filming. Because of the movie, she would have to be shooting in different locations and even have to go to Europe at one point. Ava told Klaire that they could continue their meeting over Skype when it was convenient to her. So she left Casey to figure that out.“Where are we going?” Ava looked out of the car window. Casey’s car was super tinted and no one would be able to see in.“We are going somewhere private.” he smiled.“Private. It better be.” Ava murmured.“It will be. We will have time to ourselves and no one will be able to disturb us,” he said in a promising tone.“Can’t you just tell me? The effect of the surprise will only last for a couple of seconds, so you should just tell me.”“Nope. You will have to wait and be surprised
As time passed, Ava started to get certain thoughts. These thoughts were not the nicest ones. There were things that Casey would say to her that would fuel these thoughts. And every time he would look at her a certain way, or smile at her, she would find herself thinking the thoughts that she shouldn’t.He would tell her things like: “Being with you is like a breath of fresh air.” or “When I’m with you I don’t feel suffocated. You really make things a lot easier in my life.”When he said those things to Ava, she began to think a little higher of herself. While being endlessly praised by someone she liked, it was only natural for her to want to keep up with the actions that caused her to be praised. But it also made her think highly of herself. Casey would compare Ava to Klaire and in everything she compared her to, Ava would always come out on top. And in the end, Ave began to think that she was be
It was eleven at night when Casey got the idea to show Ava his father’s company. It was something he wanted to do for a while. Klaire was not very interested in the company building and he was only able to get her to see his office and his father’s office before she got bored and wanted to leave.Ava was someone more inclined to do that kind of thing and she would actually pay attention when he told her about each part of the company and how things worked regularly and what he did. It was also an attempt for him to change her perspective on him. With all that had been going on, Ava could very much think that he was pathetic for going back to Klaire and so he wanted to show her, not only that he was someone who could spend money on her but also someone who was intelligent in the world of business. And so, he left his house, heading to Ava’s without even calling first. If she wasn’t home then he could come again anoth
Casey felt Ava stiffen in her arms, and he immediately let her go and they both backed away from the door. It could have just been someone that was cleaning, but the footsteps were a bit too fast he didn’t hear the sound of a cleaning cart with them. It could have also been someone working late that is on this floor or passing through, but Casey still wanted to be sure and so he distanced himself from Ava.The footsteps got louder and louder until they were right outside the room. And then they stopped. Casey could see the shadow of the shoes from under the door. The person stood still for a couple of seconds before putting their hand on the door handle and twisting.Electricity went up his spine as he waited. There was no one other than the cleaners allowed in his office. So who had the gall to actually try to go, when it was night as well. What could they have been doing? The door swung open and Casey paused. It wa
Ava was weak. She knew that.“YOU LIED TO ME!” Klaire screamed at her, tears and snot running down her face. Mascara smudged over her eyes as she wiped them.Just a few words from someone she was interested in was all it took for her to betray her entire code.“You wanted to help me?! BULLSHIT! And now look, YOU’RE FUCKING SLEEPING WITH MY HUSBAND YOU BITCH!”Just a singular kiss. That was all it took for her to fall. All it took was her weak heart to cling to something that wanted it.“Was this the plan all along?! For you to trap him and make him do this with you?! And you call yourself a professional that helps people!” Klaire’s entire face was deep red.Infuriated was not even the word to describe what she was feeling right now.“And you.” Klaire turned to Casey who was standing next to her. Time passed. Months passed. And soon enough, Klaire was finished with her movie shooting and was coming back home. Movie things needed to be finalized and the premier would take place some time from when she came back. Because of this Ava decided to keep her distance from Casey until they would put their plan together. The past couple of months had been one of the best times of her life. It was like she was on some sort of serotonin trip the entire time. Casey was the most perfect boyfriend. He treated her like how she had always wanted to be. He was not someone that got intimidated by her job and instead was so helpful when she needed a bit of opinion. Of course, Ava didn’t tell him her client information, but she asked him some questions that would be relatively close and then get his help from there. “So Klaire will come back tomorrow and on Thursday is when we will have her meet up with Andrew. After careful consultation, I deduced t
