Chapter 25: Stay Indoors

It was already 9 AM and Caleb was still fast asleep. He must have been really tired from swimming and playing chess with his father yesterday.

Bea stood up when she heard a knock on her room door. She opened the door and saw Caleb’s nanny holding a bag. She handed it to her before excusing herself but Bea stopped her from leaving immediately.

“Miss… Do you know Caleb’s favorite food? I want to cook lunch for him later but I still don’t know what he likes.” Bea smiled hesitantly.

The nanny smiled. “Caleb likes pork sinigang. A sour one.”

“Really?” Bea’s expression lit up. “Thanks for telling me!”

“Should I go buy the ingredients for you?” The nanny offered since she noticed that the lady in front of her was alone with Caleb so it would be hard to go to the grocery.

“Would that be all right?” Bea asked.
