A small scream escaped October's lips while she dreamt, as she kicked her legs in her sleep, trying to fight off an invisible enemy.

"No, get away," she mumbled.

Seeing this, Alistair got off his chair to make his way over to her. He stared down at her for a while, watching as the frowned with a deep crease between her brows.

"October! October, it's okay, it's okay." Alistair said, untangling her from the sheets.

Her eyes sprung open, then she pulled at her clothes, feeling hot and sticky. She was drenched in sweat and breathing hard.

"He killed-" she sobbed, not finishing what she had to say.

''It was only a dream," Alistair said softly.

"But... but it seemed so real, they were camping and then he... all of them are dead." October shook her head, pulling away from him. "It was real. That vampire killed them. Maybe you just don't care because we all are humans." She added.

"You humans or not, what you saw wasn't real."

"I know what I saw in my dreams, and they never lied to me before.
