Not the Enemy

We both exchanged a glance and before we could say anything, Mr. James spoke up. "I suppose you're wondering why I called you both here today," he started.

Then he moved out of his seat and slid to the glass window, pointing his sharp gaze outside heading to the rugby field.

"But before we begin, I want to clear the air. The other day, when we bumped into each other outside the campus, it was due to an urgent matter. My intention was not to hide but to ensure the school's safety."
