" So he really didn't leave any clue?", I wondered as I continued searching through some of Dad's files. " There's gotta be something, some document or record somewhere", I muttered while I kept on searching.

" Dring! dring!", my phone rang as I was sorting out some files. " Urrghh! Who is it now?", I murmured as I picked up the phone from the desk. It was Jared. " I wonder what it is this time", I thought and then picked up.

" You imbecile! You took her, didn't you?", his voice blared out from the phone, making me pull it away from my ear.

" What are you talking about?", I asked.

" Don't play dumb with me asshole! 'cause I ain't buying it", he said.

" Look Jared, I don't have time for this okay? Unlike you, I've got work to do", I said.

" Oh that's rich! Really rich! coming from a crook like you", he yelled.

" Like I said, I'm busy", I responded and was about to hang up on him.
