SOPHIE POV

I woke up with a start to find myself holding Magnus closely. I had just had a terrible nightmare. I had seen Kal fang chasing me, he had been about to cut me down with his claws when I had woken up. I snuggled more against Magnus body. He had clearly missed me which was evident by how passionate he was the previous night. Judging from his eyes, it also seemed like he hadn't been sleeping well these past days.

It was the early hours of the morning and the cold was biting. I threw on the warm covers once more and went into a light sleep.

I woke you to someone nuzzling my nose. Magnus tickled my stomach when he saw that I had opened my eyes. I remembered what Sinclair had told him when we were at the tradeoff. He has talked about how Magnus was weak and soft compared to other Lycan kings that he knew. It made me appreciate what I had more and see Magnus in an entirely new light. I had thought him so callous. Frightening to think that they were others worse than him.
