"Why are you glaring at me like that?, if anything you should be scared of what I'm about to say right now. I want nothing but the truth from you," Magnus said pointing his finger at me.

"I think you should be the one scared here, thinking as you lied to me," I said to him as I finally sat down.

"What are you talking about?," He asked looking at me strangely.

"I'm talking about my parents case. Isn't that what this is about?," I asked, looking puzzled.

"No. What about it?," He asked, suddenly looking suspicious.

"Nothing, it just slipped out. What was it you wanted to tell me again?," I asked, trying to get him off the topic. It would be a miracle if I did. Magnus was usually a hound in these kind of situations.

"You're not putting this off, what is it?" He said, banging his fist on the table and startling me.

"I thought you were about to confess," I blurted out, scared by his sudden show of temper.

"Confess what?. Who did you talk to?" He said, still pushing on.
