Chapter 51

Savannah P.O.V

After I left the office, I walked to the beach to meet with Jen and tell her what happened. It didn’t go down as I expected. She was a little annoyed at me for not staying and hashing it out with her brother and she’s pissed at him for letting it happen.

Part of me feels like this time I’m the one in the wrong for jumping to conclusions. But I am so embarrassed that nothing in my life can be private anymore. And I’m more embarrassed that I am the one who screwed up this time and not Chase.

By the time I got home, I said a quick hello to Toni who was preparing dinner for tonight, and ran upstairs to my room. I sat at my desk with my laptop turning on, my guitar on my lap and my music sheets next to me. I might as well get lost in the thing I love most. My music.
