"Here's your coffee sir," I placed the cup on his table and took a step back. "I hope that we can put whatever happened behind us and move forward. Is that okay?"

"I'm not upset with you Olivia and there's no need to put anything behind us." He said with a straight face. "You did what you wanted by accepting a ride from someone else so I won't hold it against you."

"You're just saying this now but we both know that it wouldn't take a while before you snap at me again. You always find a way to get upset with me for the tiniest things so I'm getting used to you now."

He chuckled. "You're just saying that. I know that you probably hate me for always getting up in your business at the slightest."

"I don't hate you Davion." I whispered truthfully. "The thing is, I admire you a lot but only as my boss and nothing else. Whatever happened between us was a mistake and a thing of the moment. I don't want you holding on to what might be and what might not be."
