"I can't wait to be discharged from this hospital. I'll feel so much at peace when I leave this shithole." Mom cussed and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Language mama. We're in a hospital." I hushed her like a child but she only smiled. We had been discussing non stop and for the first time in ages, I feel a lot lighter than I have ever felt in my entire life. It was like a new me had been reborn and I couldn't help the sudden rush of adrenaline in my veins at the moment. Everything was slowly falling into place. Clinton thought that he had me in a bind when he had refused to treat mother but I can't wait to see the look on his face when he realizes that she is very much alive and well.

"You don't think I know that. It feels so good to cuss out once in a while and I feel so extremely happy about it."

"Judging by the happy smile on your face, I can tell that you do. It's showing. Just look at how much you're glowing." I teased and she laughed at my efforts of trying to be funny.
