“What do you think you’re doing?” She scoffed.

“Know your place, slave.” She said as she eyed me with disdain.

She thought being close to Gavrael would save her somehow, that I would be too scared of him to actually attack her. And if I wasn’t so angry. I would have held back, but right now, there was no backing down till someone’s blood spills. I shoved her and she stumbled backwards with a look of surprise in her eyes.

“This is the second time you’re trying to imprint my face on the sand, and it better be the last time. I don’t know what your problem is but I’m not dealing with it so be warned.” My voice was guttural because my wolf was close to the surface.

Midi snarled and moved towards me.

“How dare you lay your hands on me, you filthy mutt!” She yelled.

“Between the both of us, who’s the mutt, rogue?” I said sarcastically

“Better a rogue than a lowly slave. I could make you lick my feet right now and you would have no choice but to do it.” She said to me with a sneer.
