CHAPTER 107
Selena touched her head which was now covered in a bandage, noticing the absence of pain. A young petite woman with bobbed black hair that curved her round face. The strong smell of antiseptic washed through her nose, causing her to retch. The nurse turned, holding her shoulders to calm her.
"You're awake, your Highness."
"Where am I? Where's Alex?"
"The King has come to check on you many times but since you were still asleep, he insisted on not waking you up. Should I go and call him?"
She raised a hand to stop her. "No. Just leave it."
The nurse dropped the scissors and several other tools in the drawer, locked it, and went outside. A few moments later, a knock sounded on the door and a head popped in. It was Cher.
