CHAPTER 112
A loud bang made her flutter her eyes open suddenly and the first thing she saw was nothingness. It was empty and a thick darkness encompassed her. The banging continued and she managed to stand up, looking around for a light to ease the pressure of the darkness. The drumming suddenly stopped, leaving an eerie silence and the swirling goose down in whirlpools of air. Selena tried to run, but something held her down to her toes—she sensed that what she was about to confront was beyond human comprehension.
A bright light flashed towards her and she raised her arm to block its brightness. The long thin panel that guarded a passageway which showed up opened before her and a burning flame was outside. She walked towards the door, careful enough not to let the light cross her arm to her eyes as it was blinding. She got through the doorway and what she saw made her heart jolt.

Chelsea flipped the screen of her laptop open and sat down in front of it. It's been a week since they arrived in Edison when her Father was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
