Charia's Pov

I stayed out late with Melissa and Peter just to spend time with them. I didn't want to go inside to see Ryder not with how he was acting.

"What happened to your hand? This was today right?" Melissa said after noticing my bandaged wrist. I tried to hide it from her.

"Just a little cut. I'm fine" I responded. She cornered her brows as she stared at Peter and then back at me.

"Is everything okay? You and Alpha Ryder, are you fine?"

"Of course, we are."

"Did he hurt you?"

"Ryder will never hurt me" I chuckled.

"You know the doctor said…"

"Ryder is fine… I am also fine. I just need him to recover fully so we can get back to laughing as we use to"

"If there's any problem please do tell me first," Peter said. "Not quite long, I asked Alpha Ryder if I could come in to see him, but he wouldn't. He said he wouldn't be coming out for a few days and he'll be with you. I cannot argue further, but if he is showing signs of harsh and hostile treatment. I'll love to know Mrs. W
