CASSANDRA….

I opened my eyes and found myself in a different place. I looked around carefully then I realized that I'm in a hospital. I looked down at my wrist. There was an IV attached to my wrist.

At first I couldn't understand why I was even here. Then I tried to recall what happened to me and how I ended up here.

I closed my eyes and tried to recall, then I went to the flashback. I remembered how Mother beat me with the lash to death. I was almost near the experience of death. But Alas! I was still alive.

A sigh left out of my mouth and I looked at the white ceiling blankly.

I thought I could be free now. But no. My all happiness shattered into pieces when I found myself alive.
