024. The Security Check

BECKY’S POV

How was I going to tell this woman that her son has died months ago? Guess I will have to break the heart shattering news to her; maybe that will bring her memories back to her; but at the detriment of her being transferred to the hospital again. I had to tell her to avoid the heartbreak I suffered every moment.

The churning of the helicopter blades awoke me back to my senses. My transport was here. The transport came with two heavily armed soldiers who came down first and ushered me towards the chopper. I checked well; it was the company’s helicopter, why are there soldiers here?

Instantly reacting, the security men at the estate rounded up the chopper and formed a circle round it in defensive positions. The soldiers hung their weapons and raised up their hands to indicate they were harmless. The security workers relaxed but still kept their positions and stance fixed.

I decided to check in with my personal assistant first to make sure I wasn’t being kidnapped.
