Luciana's POV

It's been a day after the announcement of my new position as the Luna and Martains's choosen mate. I'm very much enjoying the position. It was one of the things I have always wanted and now, I have it.

Having all these people in Oakstone under me as the female leader of all the females feels great to be on top.

This kind of achievement does come with a price. However, as a steel who has gone through thin, thick, and fire to get here, I would not back down so easily.

The pack house has become the central room for dissemination of gossip on why and why I shouldn't be the Luna.

I didn't need to take a step to know every word said by gossips and naysayers. Mia, my loyal subordinate and maid always brought me the gist about me in the pack.

But it wasn't time for me to take any action yet. I'll still give them the pleasure of talking for some days.

I have different men planted in different parts of the pack even among Martains's subordinate men. It may be surprising to know t
