Alpha Martains's POV

I felt okay after a duel with Carl. He lost to me and I smiled triumphantly because I was always on top right from our childhood.

I was much stronger. After all, an alpha needs to be the best amongst all his warriors.

I returned to the office while my beta left for the errand I had sent him on.

The pack was much peaceful these days and so I had lesser works to do outside and much work to do inside the office.

I settled down on my chair with my head cleared of any disturbing thoughts to get started on where I had left off the work on my table.
