Chapter 8

　　A few Days Later:

　　Ethan’s Coronation was in a few hours, the elders of the pack had waited at the venue for him while he got dressed in his room.

　　Cassie lazily followed Luna Monica’s order to prepare the food and design the house for use. Cassie watched as photos of Ethan were hung at the top of the hall to be used. Ethan’s face was everywhere accompanied by Rissa’s face as his Luna.

　　Luna Monica had purposely allowed her to be there when it was being hanged so she would feel pain and know she was worthless and Ethan would never be hers

　　After she was done at the hall, Luna Monica assigned her to dress Rissa as well. Cassie sighed as the order reached her from Evon and Evelyn who didn't fail to mock her again.

　　At this time, Cassie knew people only stayed with you when you are doing good, immediately bad things happen, they leave you to your lot and even mock you. She didn't mind Evon and Evelyn at all, she ignored them and went to Rissa’s room.

　　Reaching Rissa’s room, she met Rissa seated on a high chair with two maids assigned to help her with her make-up and hair.

　　“You are here?” Rissa faked a smile and gestured her to come closer which Cassie did. When Cassie reached her side, she gave her a cup filled with colored drinks.

　　“Can you refill that for me?” asked Rissa.

　　“Okay,” Cassie replied and turned around. As she turned to the side, her eyes met a sparkling white dress with long slits at the side. It was an emerald-looking dress, Cassie recognise the cloth so well.

　　It was the same cloth Ethan had promised to buy for her. He promised she would wear it during his coronation. Tears threatened to fall off Cassie’s face, her wolf also whimpered sadly and said to her,

　　“Cassie, I don't think I can do this anymore. Ethan has shut his wolf against me, I can't access him and it makes me feel weak each day. Cassie, you have to do something about -” before her wolf could finish her statement, Cassie staggered to the front, as though she was pushed.

　　She was so lost in thought, she didn't see that Rissa had set her leg in front of her and she almost fell spilling the whole drink on the beautiful white dress. The drink was colored red so it stained the white dress a lot.

　　Rissa yelled in pretense while she smiled inwardly. The only thing she gained from Luna Monica during her story was to cheat her way to the front roll.

　　Cassie fell to the floor, the cup she held was glass so it broke into small pieces and it injured her palm. She saw blood streak out of her palm while the shreds of glasses stuck into her palm causing more blood and pains to her body.

　　She tried to remove it, as she was about to, she heard the cry of Rissa which alarmed everyone.

　　“You wench! You ruined my dress!!” Rissa yelled.

　　Cassie was surprised because Rissa had placed her leg there and that was why she fell but no one would believe her even the maids who had seen everything shook their heads and looked at her with scorn.

　　Just then, Ethan and Luna Monica rushed in. When they saw the dress and the red-stained drink on Cassie’s cloth, they knew she was the one behind it. They didn't even mind if she was bleeding, they all looked at her with deep hatred.

　　Ethan thought that Cassie was evil now because he rejected her. He thought that Cassie was weak but she was very manipulating and wicked. A part of him found a reason to not accept her back or feel bad for rejecting her.

　　“Cassie, how can you be so wicked? I know you and I had seen this dress before but did you have to ruin it for Rissa? How can you be so heartless? You didn't even think of the money I used to purchase the dress!” Ethan’s face was disgusted towards her while he laid his hand on Rissa’s waist. She looked terribly as tears streaked down her face.

　　“I don't know why this wench is still alive! Why isn't she dead by now?! She is so wicked and heartless, why can't you accept that you are not cut for the position of a luna, do you have to be an antagonist?!” Luna Monica yelled.

　　Cassie said nothing, she directed her head to the floor and endured the pain that came from her palm. She cried inwardly as the pain exacerbated.

　　“Cassie, you are so evil and I hate you very much!” Ethan yelled. After he found out that Rissa gave him a Kidney when he was younger, he thought being with her was better.

　　Cassie raised her head to him, tears streaked down her face and she clenched her fist which made the tiny glasses in her hand go deeper but it wasn't like the pain in her heart. Cassie believes the pain in her palm will heal up but the pain in her heart could never be healed.

　　Ethan said he hated her? Her wolf couldn't take the words, she fell to the floor and whimpered weakly while tears rolled down her cheeks.

　　“Cassie, you are banned from this pack forever. Go and never return or you will be killed! I promise you that if you step your foot into the pack, I will kill you myself!” Said Luna Monica truthfully.

　　Cassie looked at Ethan and he looked away. She smiled sadly, nodded her head, and walked out.

　　Rissa smiled as she walked away, it was what she wanted because she felt like if Cassie was still in the pack, she would take Ethan away from her. After all, they are mated to each other and their wolves could still join them together with the mate bond and heat period.

　　When Cassie left, Rissa felt happier.

　　Ethan is mine and mine alone. She said to herself with a smile.

　　“Even if you have to cheat to get to the front, do it.” - Luna Monica.
