Chapter 2 Supplements

After the man left, Clara only looked at the business card in her hand.

Jones Walker.

CEO of Walker group.

Although Clara did not pay attention to this aspect particularly, she still heard about the name ‘Jones Walker’.

He was deep and famous with his quick action.

He took over the Walker group when he was an adult, and the group was developed as a leading enterprise in the country in just a few years.

Such an excellent person was slept by her unexpectedly.

If this stuff happened to others, they might be as happy as a clam. But Clara is not the kind of person who likes to seek connections with wealthy families, so she didn’t care about what Jones said.

Clara calmed down herself, left the business card casually on the bed and dressed on her own.

Jones left the hotel and straight went back to home.

Jones’ grandparents were waiting with the supplements prepared.

Once their grandson came back, they handed over the supplements hurriedly to Jones.

“Quickly serve it, it is good for your body!”

 Jones’ grandparents were grinning from ear to ear. Because they saw a little girl went into grandson’s room and stayed there the whole night.

Both of them were young and energetic, being alone together, something must happen.

Jones frowned and looked at the supplements. Then stared helplessly at his grandparents, firmly said, “My door was locked by you two, last night.”

Since Jones’ parents passed away, the two old people put all their attention on their grandson.

He was urged to find a girlfriend once he came of age, and he was urged again to have a child once he reached legal age.

Everything his grandparents made just made him with a wry face.

He couldn't do anything to them, so the only way he could did, was hide abroad.

He came back in a hurry this time because he heard that grandma was not feeling well.

But once he just reached, he encountered such a thing.

When listening to Jones’ words, the two old people look at each other with eyes darted from side to side.

Jones sighed.

Finally, he ate all the supplements.

The old couple had eye connections at the side.

“Something must have happened last night.”

“See, his body must be weak now, so he ate all the supplements.”

Jones looked at them warningly, “Never be like this again.”

“Then when can I meet my granddaughter-in-law?”

Jones had a deep breath and said, “If you want to have a granddaughter-in-law, please be patient and don’t do anything anymore.”

Jones’ grandma raised her eyebrows.

Seems like gonna have good news, as Jones never ever gave them replies before that.

And he ate all the supplements! It never ever happened before.

Clara tidied up herself and straight away went back home.

She wanted to question her father, but she got blocked at the door once she arrived home and had not yet stepped in the house.

Betthany John, her elder sister with a different mother stood at the door one by one with her mother, Ada.

“Sister, where did you go last night?” Betthany leaned against the door frame and said in a strange voice.

Clara was not in the mood and ignored them. She wanted to ask her dad, “Where is dad?”

“You still dare to talk about dad?”

“Just because of you, if you didn’t escape last night, and father will not need to apologize to those investors until now!”

 Clara frowned.

Betthany still criticized her arrogantly.

“Dad said, once you come back, you have to kneel at the door and wait until he comes back.”

“If the investment fails, you’re dead!”

The more Clara listened, the more disappointed she felt.

However, she won’t believe them easily, so she had to confront her father face to face about these matters.
