“What’s going on?”

Quinn's voice cut through my thoughts and I sat up right in my chair wondering for how long I had been slacking out and when she came in.

“You’ve been looking at the sky for ten minutes. You didn't even notice when I came in."

I didn't answer her and went to sit in my chair, taking a drink of water that had been there for God knows how long. I spat it back into the cup when I tasted the oddness.

“Change that. Get me a clean cup.”

I could feel the burning sensation of a headache but I ignored it. There were more important things at stake here. As soon as Quinn dropped the cup, I grabbed it and gulped down the whole cup.

“So now would you tell me what is going on?"

She crossed her hands on her chest.

I knew she wanted to know what was going through my mind but I wasn't in the mood to talk. Right now, I didn't want to hear that everything would be fine. I didn't want to hear that I was overthinking things and stressing over things.
