Not just unfit to continue living in the Crimson Moon but unfit to be my mate and the soon-to-be Luna of the Pack. The thought of that sent a sharp unbearable pain down to my spine. Even my wolf felt uneasy. I couldn’t let that happen.

I wanted Harlyn so much for her to just be someone unfit to be part of me. The idea wasn’t something I ever wanted to entertain! She wasn’t in any way a vampire and she would never be.

“He isn’t your brother,”

I told her firmly.

“And how do you know that?”

“Same way you think he’s your brother just because he told you he has a sister like you without proof! How’s he your brother when you are not a vampire?”

I questioned her.

“Didn’t you listen to what he just said? Your majesty, please,”

She pleaded. I hated how she used a title.

“I heard what he said but it doesn’t make any sense,”

Too many of these books portray “strong women” as acting like little girls with questionable ultimatums. They are adults not teens or children. Strong adult women do not act that way.

I thought Harlyn is 27. Why is she so immature? Yes he rejected her, and then begged her back. She willingly went back. Now, it starts a game of you do what I say or else. When a grown woman plays teenage games she is no longer a strong female lead. Please have her act her age.
