Chapter 52

"Is your mom still coming to pick up the kids?" I grumbled as I threw the blanket over my body and then stood up from the bed. I walked slowly towards our bathroom, ruhebbing the sleep from my eyes. 

"Yeah, she is." He replied as he put on his black pants. 

I stared at my reflection in the mirror and then exhaled loudly. I picked up my toothbrush from where it is usually kept and then put the toothpaste on it.  "You would be gone by then?" I asked as I poked my head into our bedroom and then started brushing my teeth as I stared at myself in the mirror. 

"Yes. I think so." 

"Do you really have to go this early?" I asked as soon as I was done brushing my teeth and then walked back into our room. 

"I do baby." He placed a kiss on my forehead, "I have an early meeting this morning." 

I groaned, "but we haven't been spending so much time together." I pouted. 

"I know baby. I know and I will make it
