As Aiden saw how distressed she looked about the situation, he held her hand and brought her to sit back on the spot she stood up from.

He placed a hand on her shoulder as he stared into her eyes, he assured her with the most assuring words, “Amira is but a bee with no sting and you know what bees with no sting do, they do nothing.”

“I…thank you for your understanding, Amira..” Marina was about to start explaining the reasons for her behaviors when he cut her.

“No, you don’t need to explain about this. Don’t worry, I understand. Can I get my bath now?” He asked as he teased at the end that he had wanted to enter the bathroom before she stopped him.

“Yes, sorry,” Marina said with a small smile. She was secretly happy that she bagged a good man.

Aiden entered the bathroom when he was sure that they were done with their discussion and Marina was left in the room to do her things.

She stared at the black card he gave her and with a pen and book in hand, she started getting her plans writ
