“That's sad, sorry about that,” Marina said as she comforted her, rubbing her hand against her back.

“When do you want to purchase it? We can start getting all the necessary documents ready now.” She said as she finally raised her head, stifling her sobs.

‘It is surely something hard to part,’ Marina thought as she saw how distressed Marie looked. She looked at George and her heart was wavering and she was about to talk when George held her back as he spoke up.

“Marie, we came here just to check it out and we have some other places that we still have to check but surely your store will be on our mind,” George said as he stepped forward to take over the discussion.

“Oh…” Marie cleaned her face and then apologized as she realized how desperate she was, “I’m sorry if I caused you any stress.”

“It’s okay, I’ll surely put you in mind,” Marina assured her as she stared at her with a caring gaze.
