Amira entered the office to meet Aiden's frowning face.

“Are you done with your vacation or do you need more days to further enhance your enjoyment?” He asked, a foul smile playing on his lips.

“I…I'm sorry, Sir. It was the traffic,” she tried to explain herself but was cut short by Aiden's next words.

“And was it the ink you put on your lips that caused the traffic or the paint on your face? I'm curious, make me understand how the traffic started.” He asked, staring at her keenly as if he wanted to eat her whole.

If Marina finding fault in her wasn't enough to make him angry with her, her coming late to work and looking as if she was about to go catch a man was more than enough.

If anything Aiden didn't like it, he didn't like it if someone didn't take work important and that was what Amira was displaying to him.
