In Aziza’s house, Steve watched her transfer back the country’s funds. He was so relieved, Aziza was back and he could still salvage the country.
“What should I do with the other funds?” Aziza asked, her eyes glued on the computer.
“What other funds?” Steve asked, curious.
Aziza looked down, avoiding his gaze “Well, I kind of drained the former president, defence minister and acting police minister’s offshore accounts” she said, wincing anticipating his reaction.
“Az!” Steve exclaimed.
“It was stolen money, they can’t even report it missing” she responded, shrugging her shoulders.
“That does not give you the right to steal it as well” he responded

Few minutes later, baby Unity was fast asleep. She had her feeds minutes before her parents walked in. Steve carefully placed her in her cot and pulled his stunned wife in his arms. “Are you okay?” he asked tenderly.
