The elections came and passed with Aziza still behind bars. Steve won over seventy percent of the votes, making him the new president of Asherway. It was a bittersweet moment for a most of the citizens who now had new hope for their country but also disappointed that Aziza and baby Unity were not beside their new president. Steve started cleaning up the rot that had piled up in most departments and appointed new credible head of departments and ministers. The country saw a lot of underdogs from different backgrounds and races rise into high positions. Steve had indeed search far and wide for the right people for jobs.
