I know I need to speak and tell him, but I am unsure where to start. I don't even realize how much time has passed as I try to think of where to start. That is until he speaks up.

Alexander,I head for the packhouse as fast as I can go. I know I told her an hour, but if we can leave sooner, that would be better. I wish my mate had not gone through something so traumatic as a child, but I am sure that what she has experienced has played a part in who she is today. I watch as Alex questions the rogue that attacked me, and then I watch as he snaps his neck. He shows no hesitation in his decision. That is until he looks at me. Alex goes into the bathroom, and I am embarrassed for thinking he meant for us to shower together. He wouldn't offer something like that already. I mean, he even asked for permission to hug me. I set my bag inside the closet on the empty side. The closet is huge. I could fit a bed in it. The bedroom is enormous too. I can only imagine how big the bathroom is. I really do need a shower, but I didn't want to take over his bathroom when he is used to not sharing with anyone. I lay on the bed on the other side of him. I am nervous. I have never slept in the same bed with anyone before."I hope you rest well." He says as I am staring at the ceiling."I hope you do too. It feels like everything around me stopped. All I can see is his face. The face I have not seen in fourteen years. It is older, and there is a scar that I don't remember him having above his eye.
