Ace explained the whole situation and Runa could only sink as she looked at Ryan’s shivering body. “Erica there’s nothing we can do to help him?” Runa asked as she softly touched Ryans head.
“Im sorry dear. He has to fight this since he has no mate.” Erica said with a sad smile.
Everyone’s mood became sadden at this. The thought of Ryan fighting whatever evilness alone, it only broke her heart.
Sinking her head in the crock of his neck, she cried softly and whispered sweet things. Ace only held onto her back as he was truly deep in thought. “Luna. I’m sorry to interrupt but your family heard the news and are here right now.” Charlie said, coming in the room with the stench of blood.
