The night dragged on longer than necessary. I lazily sprawled like a child, too weak to get up. My eyelids flickered, once, twice and then thrice, before it remained wide, as I scanned the four walls of the room.

It's emptiness greeted me. No Conan.

I sat up with a hasty sprint, worried about where he must have gone. He's not a night walker, hence he only did once he had a lot on his mind or when he wanted to enjoy the full moon.

I got off bed, stalk naked and walked to the window. Pulling down the blinds, I couldn't help but notice the crescent moon. It was definitely not one of those times Conan would stay wide awake, so what could be the problem.
