The next day Ariel woke up knowing that she would have to take care of the wedding decor all on her own as the only person willing to help her had been summoned for a meeting by Damien. A part of her thought that Damien had asked Alex to represent him in the meeting just so she would have to do it all on her own. He loved to see her suffer and she would not be surprised if he truly did that. She sighed at the thought of that but thought also that she was fine anyway, she had always been on her own all her life. She’d had to do things all on her own too, this was not the first and it certainly won’t be the last regardless whether Damien wished it or not. She was ready to accept her fate and move on.
