Dante:I watched as Aurora entered the office an hour and a half later, putting a file on my desk and a hard drive on my desk. She chose to leave my office while working to work with one of the employees to get things done and if I were being honest, when I set the deadline for her, I didn’t expect her to get things done as fast. Aurora:My phone rang as I was cooking, stopping the music that was playing.Checking the caller ID, I frowned when I saw that it was Giovanni who was calling. Dante:“Can I understand why you did what you have?” Aurora asked, entering the office. Her blue shirt was tucked in her high-waist pants and despite almost all the ladies at the company wearing heels, she chose to wear black sneakers. And leaning in, I was sure to keep my moments slow in case she chose to want to pull away, her heart racing against her ribcage as she fought to stay calm.
