Dante:

“Why do you keep insisting on dropping me off at home?” Aurora asked, turning to look at me.

“I know that you don’t have a car, and it’s only logical that you don’t go home with a cab when I have a car parked up front. Plus, you literally stayed at work to finish work along my side” I said, keeping my eyes on the road as I held the steering wheel.

“Yeah, but most of the employees tend to stay a while…”

“Most of the employees are not my mate, Aurora” I said, stopping her “regardless of everything, you still are my mate and I wouldn’t like to know that you are riding a car with a stranger in the middle of the night. Cab or not, the man could easily hurt you, and I know that you can defend yourself, but I would rather not put you in a position where you would have to do so in the first place”

Very good banter back and forth. But the mate bond is usually harder to stay apart then These two have been doing. But who knows suspense is good as well
