Chapter 25

Aurora:

“I made us hot cocoa” I said, entering the living room with a tray of two mugs of hot chocolate. I handed Dante his mug before setting the tray down on the coffee table and sitting beside him, crossing my legs on the couch under me as I leaned against the armrest.

“Thank you” Dante said, holding his cup in his hands for a second before holding it in his right, resting the mug on the arm rest of the couch.

It was a while past one in the morning and the two of us had finished taking our showers and having our dinner. We were currently sitting in the living room while we waited for the storm to die down. However, judging by the sound of the thunder outside, it didn’t seem like it.

“I already set the room, Dante, are you sure that you don’t want me washing your clothes for you to get some rest. The two of us are not blind and I can tell that this storm is not going to die down any time soon” I said, looking out the window. Dante sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before noddi
